Over the past 5 years, I have integrated Young Living essential oils into our home. I use them in our diffuser, take several of the supplements, and I continually learn more about how to use them daily. They have really changed my family’s life and become a daily part of our routines. One way that I love to use them is to make Bath Salts.
What you will need:
- 1 cup epsom salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- essential oils of your choice- I used Eucalyptus Radiata and Lavender in this particular batch
- glass jar for storage
In a glass bowl, mix the epsom salt and baking soda together until combined.
Then add in your essential oils. I used 10 drops of lavender and 5 drops of eucalyptus radiata.
Stir to combine! I spooned some of the salts into small jars to gift to some friends. They are the perfect little pick me up gift!
To use, dissolve 2-3 tablespoons in a warm bath, and soak for 20 minutes.
I made another batch with Bergamot and Lavender oil. The smell is divine!
If you need a great gift option for someone that is hard to buy for, this is such a great gift idea. The combinations you can make with the essential oils are seemingly endless! They are also the ideal way to wind down from the chaos of the holiday season.
What combinations will you try?
