Disclosure: I was asked by a representative of PearlMountain Technology to do a review of FotoJet. I did not receive anything in exchange for my honest review.
As a blogger and photographer, I spend a lot of time using photo editors. From client photos to adding watermarks, making graphics, and other small tasks, it’s something that I can’t live without! Recently, someone from FotoJet reached out to me to see if I would try out their program- and since you can never have too many options, I agreed! It’s always nice to change it up and try something new!
To play around with FotoJet’s features, I used this photo from our vacation. Here is the original from my phone:
I wanted to make it a tad brighter, zoom it in a bit, and make that gorgeous sunset color really pop.
I like the effects and how the portrait setting brought out the color in this photo, but when I saved it, it saved in black and white and I had to start over. Here’s the final result:
FotoJet is a free service, but you can upgrade to access more features for $35 a year. They offer editing, templates, collages, and more so you can customize any photo to your needs. The collages are really easy to make, as well as photo cards. With the premium account, you can access over 600 templates and 2o photo effects, just to name a few.
Overall it is easy to use, and it’s something I can see adding to my photo editing regimen. It will take some getting used to, but overall it seems user friendly and worth upgrading to the premium account. The free options are pretty limited, but if you needed something quick and didn’t want to go to the trouble of using a more complex program, FotoJet would get the job done.
I look forward to playing around with this more and creating images with FotoJet!
