If there is one thing that I am learning about our new schedule and routine, it’s how prepared I have to be the night before. Between homework folders, packing lunches, breakfasts, projects, snack days, ballet class, cleaning, and laundry, it’s a lot. You all know what I mean! The amount of things that rattle through my brain in a day just trying to stay afloat is insane. In fact, recently I was asking Brandon about something because I needed to know what day I should plan to get groceries and still be around for whatever we were talking about!
For the record, he thinks I have completely lost it.
But in all seriousness- moms, working women,– whatever category of that you fall into, we are busy. Busy with our families, jobs, hobbies, groceries, laundry- it can sometimes leave little time to think about ourselves. I have gotten better “self care” — I am still getting up early to work out, but I will admit, my eating hasn’t been as great as it was over the summer.
