Summer is rough on my hair. I don’t like having it on my neck when it is hot and humid out so 90% of the time, it is up in a pony or headband. Add in sweaty workouts and days spent at the pool, you have a recipe for hair disaster. Oh, and because I like change, I went a little more blonde at my ends for the summer, making them just a bit more dry.
Sometimes being beautiful means making sacrifices. Dry ends all summer was one of those sacrifices.
Then I started using CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner about a month ago. Within the first two washes, I noticed an improvement in my scalp and hair health. It is formulated with Nutrium 10™, an advanced moisture complex of vitamins and nutrients including vitamins B5, C & E, sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils, glycerin & aloe vera, making hair resilient to dryness for 24 hours! (Look for it at Target or Walgreens!)
Now that fall is on the horizon it’s the perfect time to treat your tresses to some extra love to ensure your scalp doesn’t dry out when the weather changes. The skin on your scalp is the same skin that covers the rest of your body. You wouldn’t skip cleansing and moisturizing your face, so you shouldn’t skip it for your scalp. Scalp hair is vital to the health of your hair.
I like washing with the CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner before bed and letting my hair air dry to cut down on the heat damage from my blow dryer. In the morning, I can just curl/straighten my hair and get on with my day, which now that school is in full swing, I am glad about! I don’t want to have the extra time and fuss over my hair taking up my mornings.
My hair looks healthier which is encouraging since I will wear it down more this fall. Cooler temps mean I will need my hair to help keep me warm! Not to mention, I feel much more put together when I take a little more time doing my hair.
