When my sister in law announced her pregnancy at the end of summer, my sister and I couldn’t wait to plan a baby shower for her. We picked the cutest woodland theme with buffalo plaid accents, surprised Shelby with her favorite desserts, and were all set for a winter/February shower ahead of her March due date.
At the beginning of February, Mr. Wyatt decided he wanted to come early, putting his parents through two weeks of trying to keep him in before he was born on February 9th; one day before the scheduled shower. Not wanting to give up our plans, we rescheduled for this past weekend, and thankfully most everyone was able to make it. It was so fun to shower Shelby and share our love for her, my brother, and their sweet new baby boy.
One of our friends did this amazing chalk art. Can you tell we had these ready long before Wyatt was born? Ha!
We borrowed the wood discs from a friend, and the jars for the cookies were leftover from Kris and Shelby’s wedding.
It was such a sweet day celebrating our newest nephew! We are so glad he is here to snuggle and love.
